Chatbox Evo Package
Default Full Screen Chat Box won't Load

This is the second time this has happened. For some reason after about a month maybe 6 weeks each time now, the full screen chat box fails to load. Is there a reset button? Any idea why it clicks along working fine, then stops. I haven't really changed anything (other that I added some Chatbox Rules.

Last time it happened I uninstalled the chatbox then reinstalled it from scratch. However, this is sort of a pain to get everything reconfigured.

Sounds to me like you are editing the files themself right? Or you are doing something in the templates. And we can't view it, because you have guests disabled to see it.

Yeah...LOL. When I posted originally guests were able to view it. Then I started trying to set options to use less resources and disabled guests. According to my (soon-to-be ex-) host, I was using too many resources on the shared server and they pointed at the chatbox as having the moet requests than any other file on my site.

I think the failure to load issue is the result of bad hosting. We'll find out if that is true once the switch is complete.

The chat does use some resources, but on shared hosting they love to complain about it but I run about 10 sessions of it on the one shared host (all different domains) and no issues. I hope it's not hostgator that is giving you issues, but if it's not, look into them, they are cheap and pretty decent.
